From quotation to final files: the Vidlix project workflow

When you hire an editor, your project starts in 'awaiting quotation.' The editor reviews what you've shared and sends back a fixed price and delivery estimate.

Once you pay the advance — a percentage of the total, set per-project — the editor starts work. You'll typically see status updates as work progresses, and the editor may request additional footage if needed.

When the editor delivers a preview, it's intentionally watermarked and lower-resolution. You can request a revision or approve it. Approving moves the project to final payment — and paying that unlocks the original, full-quality files for download immediately.
